Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme in France was born on the 9th of August 1976. Audrey was the elder child in a family of four. Since a young age, her dentist doctor parents as well as her teacher mother supported Audrey's love of theatre and drama. It was this love that trumps her first desire to be the first primatologist. A quick and successful start to success as well as a swift growth in popularity was a sign of her development as an actor. After her graduation in 1998, she participated in a French talent-scouting TV programme Jeunes Premiers that was supported by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to launching her acting career in earnest. Tautou was born into a Catholic home, and was a member of the her church even though she went to school in the Institut Catholique de Paris. Apart from her acting career she was also interested in modelling. The model was of L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and is known as "The Chanel Muse". Recently, at Arles Arts Festival, Arles Arts Festival she exhibited the collection of her photographs with the name Superficial. Through her photography, she is mainly focused on celebrities and fame. The camera is turned at journalists, who sat and watched her during her rise to the heights of fame in Amelie. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom and international fame with her first big role, starring as the lead in The Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Pouulain. Amelie was a global success on the screen and was awarded awards across the world. Amelie is the top grossing French film of the French language across the US. In the wake of this achievement, Tautou was featured in a wide range of film productions ranging including British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles and moving into Hollywood under the direction of Ron Howard of the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code together with Tom Hanks.
