Raised in an average neighborhood she excelled in school and college. Apryl's talents were evident even when she was a child. Her love for music was what led her in the right direction. She met a well-known artist, and she went to his concert with him as a back up singer. Being involved in one another's lives, they decided to take part in Vh1 TV hit show Hollywood. The premiere season follows the birth and pregnancy of Megaa Grandberry. Season two examines her frustrations and anxieties regarding her career choices. Apryl's return to season six focuses on the custody battle she had in the custody battle with Omarion. Also, it focuses on the rumors and scrutiny in the press surrounding Lil' Fizz's relationship. In season six of Apryl, she and Lil' Fizz confess to having an affair, which leads to her conflict with Moniece.
