Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie is first woman who has been crowned winner of CrossFit Games in two consecutive year. Her second place was both in 2010, and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit and a media star. She was the first woman to win the CrossFit Games in 2011, as well as 2012, and twice. She is also known as having been the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was born in and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents as well as her siblings. As a child she was a huge lover of exercise and sports. She took part in a variety of school competitions and was awarded a variety of medals. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit Games in California where she performed relatively well in initial games. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 years older (as at 2021). Her height is around 5'7 and her weight approximately 67 kilograms. Annie started CrossFit Training in California at the age of 2009. She did well on her first games, finishing in the top 10. However, she didn't win a championship and concluded the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In the same year, under Jami's coaching she won the silver medal in the CrossFit Games. In her second year of competition that she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her impressive performance she was the first woman to be awarded CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie was again the winner of her first CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and became the first woman athlete to win twice in CrossFit Games consecutively. Also, she received a trophy of silver in 2014 as well as an award of bronze at the CrossFit Games in 2021. Presently Annie coaches and trains at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. With rising fame as an athlete Annie has been a face of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae, among other.
